Professional Development Webinars in February for Youth Workers

The Community of Practice of the Montgomery County Collaboration Council has the following webinars available for Youth WorkersYouth Today is now offering a webinar series on engaging youth in the out-of-school time. The topics have been carefully selected based on critical issues in the field and are intentionally designed to connect current research with practice and to bridge the gap between the two arenas. Each webinar in the series is a short 30 minute presentation.
  • Engaging African American Youth in Reading During OST

    Description: This webinar will focus on engaging African American youth in reading during the out-of-school time. Presenters include Ann M. Bennett from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Daneell Moore from Troy University in Alabama, and Tim Adams, from Wesley House in Knoxville.
