Interfaith Works pursues social justice with an emphasis on identifying and meeting the needs of the poor, and leading and engaging Montgomery County's faith communities in service, education and advocacy. Interfaith Works is an interfaith coalition of 160 Protestant, Jewish, Catholic, Unitarian Universalist, Buddhist, Ethical, Non-denominational, Christian Scientist, and Muslim congregations. Last year 33,000 men, women and children received help from Interfaith Works with the volunteer effort of more than 7,000 friends in the community.
