On Our Own is a wellness and recovery center for adults with mental health challenges, although, in reality, anyone is welcome. We offer peer support, educational workshops, group experiences, individual peer support, community outings and we offer the "class" to complete a Wellness Recovery Action Plan. Everyone at On Our Own has some kind of mental health issue, and it is through shared experiences we support each other and create an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding. We would like to expand our programs so we are always seeking new members and volunteers.
Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. We are closed Tuesdays and Sundays. We are usually open on Holidays. There are no fees to attend, however, we do have $24 membership dues for those people interested in becoming a member and being able to vote during our Annual Meeting and have priority for scholarships for our annual summer conference.
