KID Museum is an emerging children’s museum in Montgomery County, geared toward elementary and middle school aged children, with a mission to cultivate creativity, curiosity and compassion through playful exploration of the world. Our vision is to create a world-class, interactive museum for children and families that becomes a unique regional attraction and a major contributor to the educational, cultural and economic well-being of Montgomery County. Building on the assets of our community, our programs focus on three core themes: (1) exploring world cultures; (2) deepening engagement in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM); and (3) promoting social responsibility. Ultimately, our goal is to incubate the skills, aptitudes and vision our children need to become innovative, empathetic leaders of the future.
