Currently, Latin American Youth Center/Maryland Multicultural Youth Centers (LAYC/MMYC) offers academic services, including pre-GED, GED, tutoring, and post-secondary connections, through virtual and distance learning due to Covid-19. Our approach blends 'live' classrooms and self-paced resources to meet the needs of each student. Eligibility: WIA eligible (changing to WIOA in current FY); must be between 16 and 21 years old; must have dropped out of high school; must have parent approval if under 18 years of age; must complete intake paperwork.
