Therapeutic Nursery Program also known as TNP
By Reginald S. Lourie Center for Infants and Young Children

The Therapeutic Nursery Program (TNP) is a specialized preschool that addresses the needs of young children three to five years of age with emotional and behavioral problems that may interfere with success in a regular preschool or day care setting. Without intervention these difficulties and behaviors may place the child at risk for school failure. The TNP fosters appropriate social, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth in each child. The TNP is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and licensed by the Office of Child Care and the Maryland Department of Mental Health and Hygiene.
